About the Music

Quiet Worship is a reflective worship recording created to make space—to slow down, breathe, and focus on Jesus and His love. Stripped of heavy production, these songs are intentionally simple, allowing room for prayer, reflection, and personal worship.

The project reimagines familiar worship songs from the past 20 years, along with classic hymns, played in a more organic, Savannah-inspired style. It’s the sound of morning devotion—uplifting, calming, and deeply personal.

Quiet Worship is a two -part series:

  • Quiet Worship – stripped-down worship with vocals

  • Quiet Worship Louder – more energy, more edge, and a bit “swampy”

This project reunites musicians who have faithfully served on the worship team at Savannah Christian—now Compassion Christian Church—bringing them together for a special collaboration. Quiet Worship is organized and led by Frank Andrews, with production support from Phil Hadaway.

Our hope is simple: that this music draws listeners closer to God. If even one life is changed, it will have been worth it.

  • Phil Hadaway

    RECORDING ARTIST

    Recording guy of great knowledge and lifelong friend. Phil mixed live at Savannah Christian for 19 years of explosive growth at our church. He has been involved in recording for most of his life. His work with clients such as Disney, Miley Cyrus, Benan OBrian, Will Smith and so on. He says he knows what he is doing and if this happens and sounds good, it will be because of him.

    PS: I gave him his first job at around 14.

  • Deidre Tober

    VOCALIST

    Deidre is a vocalist on Quiet Worship, known for her heartfelt, faith-filled voice. A God-fearing woman who puts faith and family first, she brings sincerity and depth to every moment she sings.

  • Alecia Lubbers

    VOCALIST

    Alecia brings a beautifully distinctive voice that carries both strength and intimacy to Quiet Worship. Formerly based in Savannah and now living in Franklin, TN, she serves at her local church alongside her husband while raising their four boys.

  • Don Briola

    KEYBOARD

    Don is a keyboardist on Quiet Worship, bringing a simple, intentional style that supports the heart of each song. His playing creates space for stillness and connection.

  • Gordon Perry

    SLIDE GUITAR

    Gordon adds texture and atmosphere on slide guitar for Quiet Worship, bringing a subtle, expressive sound that supports each moment with simplicity and depth.

  • Bobby Hanson

    HARMONICA PLAYER

    Bobby brings a warm, expressive touch on harmonica to Quiet Worship, adding depth and character with a simple, soulful style.

  • Adam Johnson

    A SCAD student and Pro Tools engineer, he played a key role in bringing Quiet Worship to life. From recording support to going above and beyond (even digging up plants from his own yard for Frank), his generosity, skill, and servant’s heart made a lasting impact on this project.

  • Sean Ihrig

    Sean Ihrig grew up at Savannah Christian Church (now Compassion Christian Church) and has served as both a team and main campus worship leader. A highly talented vocalist, he’s also been a great support to Frank—an awesome guy, and we’re glad to have him on this project.

  • Martha Swindelle

    Martha Swindelle is a talented musician who brings a rich, unique sound to the project, playing accordion on many of the songs.

  • Jay Stewart

    Electing Guitar

    Jay Stewart faithfully drove from Claxton for five years to serve on the praise and worship team at Savannah Christian Church (now Compassion Christian Church). A gifted electric guitarist, he brings both precision and heart to the album. He’s also the only local musician to have played gigs with Gregg Allman—and the only person I know aiming to play in the style of Chet Atkins.
